Gemm

Hi my name is Gemm I came into rescue with my 3 wee ones when they were only 7 days old. I was so scared and worried but the foster home was warm and there was lots of food and a nice cozy bed for me and my babies. They have all been adopted to their forever homes so now it’s my turn. So here’s all about me !!! I’m a people cat, I love spending time with my person. Im usually not very far from my foster mom all day. And when the evening comes around, you can find me on her lap for some one on one loving. when it’s time for bed i’m either at the foot of my fosters bed or i’m in my cosy bed on the floor next to her. So you see, I’m never too far away from my person. i’m also a door greeter. I’m always at the door when I hear my foster mom coming. I enjoy playing with toys and I love a scratching board with catnip on it. ITS HEAVEN!!! I also love my catnip mouse that I carry around and I love to hide in the play tunnels. I keep mainly to myself. It wouldn’t be bad if I was the only cat in the house I might even enjoy it, but if there was another cat in the house for company, that would be nice too. I do play with the older kittens that are here once in a while. sometimes we get running up and down the stairs, it’s a lot of fun. I’m a very good eater. I enjoy wet food and hard kibble. We have fancy feast, wet food, The salmon or the chicken are my favorite. For the hard kibble I’ve kind of taken a liking to performatrin prime, indoor, chicken and rice flavor. It just has the right amount of crunch. For snacks we have Catit Creamy lickable treats from Costco, they are very tasty. I’m a very clean girl, I like to sit on the cat tree and groom myself and I like to have my own litter box. We have the pellet type litter in the litter boxes here. I can be a bit shy at first, just till I get to know you. I don’t like too much commotion in the house. I usually just curl up in my bed when I’m feeling overwhelmed . I love to be petted and to sit on your lap. it might take me a couple days to feel comfortable at a new home but as long as I have my favourite blanket I know I will be good.
