Agreement and Further Information

PLEASE NOTE:


  • The kitten/cat must be an INDOOR only cat.

  • Cats can live for more than 15 years. It is YOUR responsibility to care for this animal for its entire lifespan, once adopted.

  • We do not allow our kittens/cats to be gifted to others as a surprise (example: birthday, Christmas, Easter, etc)

  • You agree to NEVER declaw any cat/kitten adopted from Winnipeg Kitten Adoption.

*Our kittens/cats will be spayed/neutered by our vet clinic partner.


We will set up an appointment, and it will be your responsibility to get them to/from the vet. A $50.00 fee is charged by the vet to the adopter if your cat's spay/neuter appointment is missed.

IF APPROVED TO ADOPT, PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:


The adoption fee includes:

  • vet check at Spay/neuter

  • Tattoo

  • Deworming

  • Two FVRCP vaccines


Any other testing requested by the adopters at the time of the spay/neuter is the financial responsibility of the adopters. We DO NOT provide the Rabies vaccine.


Payment for the adoption should be made via e-transfer to wkaadoptions@gmail.com and will be confirmed prior to pick up of your new pet. At pickup time, you are required to provide a proper pet carrier for transport.


*Please be sure to ask the foster what kind of food your kitten/cat is currently eating. We highly recommend that you stick to the food that they are eating for a couple of weeks before making any changes to their diet. We encourage you to do a gradual switch to your food preference to prevent an upset stomach and irritated bowels.
